Spring Tea

Winter drags on but seed catalogs are in the mail on a daily basis so it must be time to  bring my tea ladies together for a spring time tea.    I've decided on a green and white theme to represent the promise of green grass and leaves.


I've layered a white tablecloth with green place mats.  I've alternated green and white dinner plates with green and white dessert plates and carried on the theme by alternating green and white napkins.  I'm using tea cups with green flowers.


My favors are coconut macaroon birds nest complete with malted chocolate eggs.  I've used green plaid saucers from another set of dishes to hold the favors and add another accent to the table.
